Nancy Drew Wallpaper!

Here is the second poster! I'm sure you'll enjoy this one as much as--if not more than--the previous wallpaper if you liked the previous one. In this wallpaper, I included Nancy--just the good ol' Nancy Drew--staring back sadly at the exploding car which Joe had gone to fetch his camera before it exploded. Be sure to read my story Broken Promises (updated every Friday night) in order to enjoy the picture fully.

And sorry about the car. I guess I'm not very good at drawing cars or machines :-P

To see the full 800 by 600 pixel image, click on the image itself. Enjoy! And please don't forget to write a comment about this picture and/or my story at fanfiction.net! Thanks in advance!

A Little Present to My Loyal Readers!

I not only love writing stories but also drawing pictures that act as the story's internal illustrations or the story's title page picture! I've decided to share my illustrations with my readers to show how grateful I am to have so many readers who have supported me all the way from Missing in Action to Broken Promises!

Here is the picture. The brunette is Iola, the blonde is Diana, and the guy in between them is--Joe, of course! The background is a photograph of Paris that I took from the Internet (I'm not sure if this will violate the copyright act or whatchamacallit, but I guess it's okay as long as I don't sell it, since drawing a picture using someone's photograph and displaying on a blog is just like writing a fanfic and displaying it online.). I hope you like it. You can also set it as your wallpaper, if you're interested. I'll be drawing more when I have time, so be sure to check back often!

To view the full image, click on the image. It will redirect you to another site which has the full-size version of the picture. Enjoy!
Because I've never taken a drawing class (only one painting class), I don't have much confidence in my drawing. I know it looks cartoony, but I like this more than the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys comics that are published, since I think the comics are not really close to the originals. Anyway, please tell me what you think of this picture in your review for Broken Promises or in the comment that you can add to this blog. I appreciate it! :-)

Writer's Block!?

I can't think of anything to add to the story, and it's still barely one-fourth done! I can't believe it! I'm thinking of adding more romance into my new novel. Anyway, I posted my fourth chapter (which is my fifth if you include the prologue). So visit FanFiction.com and read the newest chapter. Read, enjoy, and REVIEW, please!

Fourth Novel

I finally finished my fourth chapter in my fourth novel that stars Nancy, Ned, Frank, and Callie. What happened to Joe? Well, you will know more about him in the next chapter, which I plan to put up in about two days. This story will be very long, so there will be more clues for you to find!

Hint of Trouble

My story is once again updated, and I'll be updating this blog just as often. The story is reaching its climax, and I'm happy to say that I'm done with chapter 13! It'll be just a matter of time before I get to my next mystery.
Okay, so the alibi trick may seem a little complicated. Believe me, it's not! The trick is so simple you'll be amazed. In real life, a complicated trick doesn't mean a successful one, and even if the trick does work, the police will find it right away.
Here is a word of advice: don't just look at the time when the suspects have no alibi. Look at what the suspects are doing. And read over the last few chapters. I'm sure you'll be able to figure out my trick. Remember that this story and the next one will be connected in some way. In the next novel, the detectives will be investigating one of the most baffling mysteries. I won't tell what the mystery is just yet, but you'll be surprised.
Don't miss my next update as well!

Finally! My first blog

I finally found a great site to post my blog. It's really frustrating to not let the world know about me! Anyway, James Stapleton isn't my real name, but it's my pen name for the stories I write in FanFiction.net.
I already wrote a few fan fiction mysteries featuring the famous Nancy Drew and Hardy boys. If you are interested, you should read the stories I wrote.
The first one I wrote was titled: Missing in Action. The second one is titled: Ocean of Deceit. The third one, which I'm still working on, is Out of Tune.
I'm busy writing the eleventh chapter, and there will be three more chapters till the grand finale! If you have the time, visit my most recent story here.
